About Her Majesty's Theatre

The first theatre on this site was built in 1705. It was rebuilt in 1898 after a fire but the new building managed to hang onto much of its original period charm. Sitting opposite the Theatre Royal Haymarket, Her Majesty’s Theatre is a large venue that seats 1216 people spread over four levels; the stalls, royal circle, upper circle and balcony. Just down the road from famous Piccadilly Circus, the theatre is slap bang in centre of London’s main tourist district, where audience members can enjoy a host of good restaurants and bars.

A feast for the eyes and ears
The pyrotechnics were brilliant the costumes were stunning and the singing was out of this world. My balcony seat was slightly obscured by someone leaning on the front railing but grab a pair of binoculars for £1 and you can see some good detail. Set design was phenomenally detailed. When multiple characters were singing over each other although was clever but a little annoying. Programmes were stunning.

the show was good overall , my friend said the show was very different to the one played in canada but enjoyed it anyways , for myself im somewhat biased , it was good but not my style of play
